hey guys, i have a oc system, but i want to add more stick of ram. i know that more sticks will cause more heat, but my reason to add more stick is this. I want to create a RAM Disk..... with proper software and hardware.... you can get up to 4 digit transfer/read rates... thats 5 to 10x faster then SSD!!!

I was thinking of buying 2 x 4gb sticks and using my current ones, 2x2gb, for my Ram Disk.....will that cause a fault somewhere in the road of OC? i already know the heat will go up, and thats fine! MORE FANS MORE FANS!!!!!

thats what it thought too.... even tho that the MB support the dual RAM stick config. putting either 3 or 4 won't hurt it... it just recommend in pairs for better use.

do you have a ram DISK set upped?

my personal opinion.... all SSD are RAM DISK, the compnay just chip it and turn down the speed..... for later "new release" sales..... thats my opinion!
