Afterburner voltage not staying?

just a quick question. iv got my 5770 OC'ed so iv raised the voltage to 1350mV but for some reason even if i set it to apply OC at system startup the voltage doesnt kick in, so each time i turn on the system i have to apply the voltage.
also after a few hours of gaming the voltage will randomly set back down so of course the game will crash. anyone know how to fix this? its a bit annoying. there is a checkbox in the setting of afterburnder that says " force constant voltage" could that be it?
