Swiching out motherboard for a new and improved one

Hey I have been wanting to switch to a new motherboard ever since I bought my pc in a store. So I can run two video cards and have more performance overall. I just wanted to know if I couls swap my motherboard out for a new one but if I can keep the same memory and hard drives? I have have 3gb of ddr3 memory and two hard drives belive the motherboard i am running now is a Asus basswood g3 it is a standard store bought motherboard. I got a new power supplie new graphics card and I was looking into a new motherboard can any one help me
