Problems with PC...

Hi there, I'm new here, so first of all, hi to all!

OK, here is my problem, I have
AMD Athlon 64 6400+ X2 BE stock
Asus M2N-E SLi Mobo
2x 1GB DDR2 800MHz PQi
Asus AMD 4870 514MB 750/900
2x WD 320GB (AAKS & KS)
LG DVD-ROM
LiteOn CD-RW
NEC DVD-RW
SB Live! 5.1 Digital
Corsair TX750

Peripheral:
MX510 USB
BTC8190 PS/2
Altec Lansing 500 4.1system
Asus MK241H
Samsung 730BF

...my problem is, that my PC sometimes puts out BSOD 0x000000D1 (or is it 1D), but most times it just reset's or lock's up, or even lock's up with strange graphic glitch in left upper corrner, some red rectangle or something!
I recently changed PSU to TX750 (before Antec TP430), GFX to AMD 4870 (before Asus 8800GTS G80) I tought its problem with low power PSU & graphic problem, but no, problem still persists, I even upgraded BIOS on my MoBo, but still nothing!
When I test memory, nothing happends, its OK, but if I put it to DualChannel, in MemTests it shows from 40% of testing a inverse, that is if its writen 00011000, it's reads from it 11100111!!!
Also, is this MoBo too weak for all this?
Right now I don't have much to change all this, but soon I'll change MoBo to DFL LanParty DK M2RSH & 2x2GB of Geil Plus 5-5-5-15 @ 1066MHz, it's best what I can find for my need!
But this must wait, what sould I do till then?

Oh yes, it happends only when I play games, especially WoW, sometimes on Pcsx2 emu, other games usualy go without this!

Have you manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the manufacturers specs in the BIOS? What are your idle and load CPU temps? I would say the problem is either RAM related or an overheating CPU.

CPU is in range of 30-32 idle & 42-49 full load, I have Cooler Master Hyper TX2 on it, so I don't think it's CPU!

RAM is on default in BIOS, nothing changed, didn't even OC-ed PC!

What is the exact model of your RAM? It's always a good idea to manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage even if you're not overclocking your system. A lot of RAM is rated to run at over the 1.8v DDR2 standard and will run underclocked with loose timings until manually set. The motherboard manufacturers have to do this for compatibility reasons or any RAM that needed more than 1.8v to run wouldn't work.

OK, I'll try, I didn't see the No of Model, but they are PQi models 1Gigs each on 800MHz... See what I can doo, & report back

It's more like that power series, but latencies are 5-5-5-18 instead of 5-5-5-15!

They actually block all images from host sites. I can't see those either while I'm at work.

My network at work is pretty locked down.

I had this problem when i put together a rig the other day. The board was auto detecting the ram at higher timings than the manufacture specs. So i manuel went in and changed them to the manufactures specs. This then caused me to get BSOD's. Its just that the timings are messed up (even though there right).

What I did to fix the problem:
I first did a quick bios update. Then I set the manufactures specs of the ram again and it ran like a champ. Overall I think this problem lies not that you have failing hardware but your bios setup.

Also looking at your CPU-z screenshot it says your running in single channel mode. You want to use dual channel.

No, I think it's your memory. If you can, try the memory in another system. I suspect that your RAM just isn't meant to operate in dual channel mode, or if it is then perhaps your motherboard just doesn't like it. If you can test the RAM in another system and get the same kinds of problems RMA the Ram. You could also buy another set of RAM from new egg and if that runs good, well then RMA the pqi .

Sounds like you have a dead stick of RAM since it works with just one stick installed. PQI isn't known to be one of the best RAM manufacturers. You may need to break down and buy new RAM if you can't RMA the PQI stuff.

...well, I have to dissapoint you, it doesn't work even with 3rd stick of RAM, wich I took today from my job, Transcend 1GB DDRII 800 CL5

So, I really don't know what now, is CPU fault?

OK, I found a solution, it seems that Asus didn't fully support this 6400+ CPU, & it seems that it can get enought juice to run, so here is what I did, allthou this is not final, maybe it will still make problems, I reducet CPU mp on x12 a Vcore on 1.35V, we will see how it's going to run!

Later I will try bouth modules of memory, so I'll post what I found out!
