I cant remove the write-protection

is there any solution to remove the write protection? i try to eject it several times but its error again and again. So can i re-format the disk or if it doesn't work do i need to use other disk? but how? please help me

Is this a SD card or thumb drive or something else??

Is it an external HDD? If it is, wait for all disk activity to cease and then unplug it from the USB or FireWire or whatever port you have it connected to. Wait about a minute and then plug it back in and let it be redetected. Try copying a file to it to determine if the error still persists.
