Think this info should be enough for my Overclocking question
I wanna overclock my machine guys, im new to this, have a fair bit idea but never tried it myself
think u guys can help me with some settings - not to sound lazy - im doing a massive googling for a good instructions manual
will try if i find anything, mean time wanted to check if anyone has some spare time to chuck some information here.
what is your gaol for you rig?? i believe ur bio is similar to mine, you are going to have to change a setting in, "Advance Volt," there is a profile, its is on "Standard" by default, change that to turbo, and now you won't be held down.
Thnx guys for ur reply - sorry for being late - purpose i have to say is nothing important - just want to do it so i could feel some difference in application loading and multitasking - thnx for the articles and youtube clip - i will dig into it a little deeper and get as much info as possible on that - wont be doing any gaming at all. just want to get my processor to 4 - basically like testing purposes - all the tools required for stability checks and how do i normally use them- and see how my rig is performing and how much i can push it (only until safe level)- i wont be permanently sticking to super overclock mode - i will get it down to normal - - - so u can assume that this is me trying to overclock an i7 without messing it up and at the same time learning.
