I am having random freeze ups after a new system build. The first time is was while i was formatting the hard drive. I started over and it didnt do it again until i had windows installed. I happens periodically with no warning. The screen just fills up with solid corrupt video. It happened once while i was in the bios screen too. I checked temps on cpu, nothing above 32c was noted. I switched out memory with a known good set. Any ideas?
Here is my system. Amd 5800+ x2, asus m2n68-am se2, 2gb of DDR2-800 (Adata), 160gb WD HDD, a dvd burner and 485watt power supply. CPU Bad? MOBO? Help?
