No, actually it wouldn't. If you check out the specs on the drive he references you'll find it is a sata notebook drive. That plus he also indicates mounting into a 1u rackmount chassis. A horse of a different color, but can be done.

I am working on something similar (that's how I came across this thread), but with a slimline, slot-loading, ide drive. After many hours of looking around, I've concluded that the only place that makes the mounting hardware you are looking for is here: http://www.slidirect.com/Products/Custom-Bezels_2
Because the drive gets it's power via the interface, you will need this sata/power cable kit: http://www.slidirect.com/Products/Adapters-and-Cables

I think that will get you where you want to be.
