PC installed into new case, Power button doesn't work

I installed everything from my computer into a new case last night...

First off, it's a giant case and I love the look, but I get everything installed and was confused when I tried to use the power led/powercable/hdd led/reset button.I plugged it in, every way possible. nothing worked. I said screw it and reinstalled it to my old case. Didn't tunr on when I reinstalled it. Thought I fried my computer. next morning, it fired right up.

what happened? Thanks for the help in advance.

what case and m/b?
Do You have a manual for m/b?It should have a diagram.
Ive seen boards labled wrong.maybe case wires or lables are incorect.
I also have seen where you needed to reverse the plug to get it to work.

And I boguht this stupidly. I might just buy a new motherboard, but the Videocard is stuck on this one. Anything I do won't help me get it off.

The barebone was cheap and it had a couple decent reviews, but... the case is really decent. I dunno what to do.
