Windows wont boot AsRock P45xe

Hello pros. Need some help please. I built a comp for my g/f. It has an AsRock P45XE motherboard, and a a raptor HD connected by SATA. When turning on the computer, the AsRock screen loads, but windows will not. If I have her unplug the mobo Battery, and let it reset it will boot windows. After leaving the computer off for the night, again, it will not load windows the next day. I have determined it is either a Mobo or HD problem. I could be wrong? I have the same setup in my computer and it works fine. I have had her reinstall windows 3 times now. Could it also be a driver problem? Like a sata driver? Im going to post this thread in the Hard drive forum as well, just in case. Thank you for any help.
