I've installed a Supermicro X7SLM-L motherboard into a 1U short depth chassis, and when powering up get no video - no beeps, nothing. Just the LED indicating overheating (solid red) and that's it. As far as I can tell, I've installed everything correctly. I've also reset the BIOS, removed and reinstalled the SATA connection to the HD, reseated RAM, reseated the CPU, etc. CPU is Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 (2.66GHz).
I've searched fruitlessly elsewhere and am now stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That motherboard probably does not support the E8200. Super Micro indicate that it supports an Intel Core2 Duo E4000 Series CPU only.

Thank you - I did finally figure out there was a CPU/MB incompatibility having to do with FSB speeds. Oh well.
Thanks again for the response - it is appreciated!
