I see that the Ku lnb can be mounted in 2 different directions 180 degrees
from each other.Does it make a difference in reception? If so how do you
tell which angle is correct?

any help would be appreciated

Pick the angle that would best keep rain out of the insides ... it doesn't reall
matter which, because your skew motor will provide the alternate angle.
