what are the best sub $100 dollar set of speakers for gameing? i like the logitech X-540s but is there something better?

i would like 5.1 but if 2.1 is better for the price thats fine. i have a pretty serious rig, i7 and 2 GTX 285s, and want to enjoy the most out of my games

edit: i also like the M-AUDIO Studiophile AV 30 2.0

Honestly if you dont have space to properly setup the 5.1, just get 2.1 speakers.

You wont be missing out on much.

I have a cheapo pair of Logitech 2.1's the X-230. They pack a pretty good punch. They should have a better model of 2.1's under 100, with a bigger sub than this.

I also have the 5.1 z-5300. And the sub on those is nice. I wound up using these for my home theater instead of the PC.

You buy 5.1 for under 100 your gonna be cheating yourself on bass. Which in my opinion is much harder to come by in a good set of speakers.

Get the Klipsch 2.1 pro media. They usually run for $150.00 retail but I have seen them on sale for $100. You could even try craigslist or something.

Another vote for the Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1

I'm not sure if they're sold new anymore, so just find a set on eBay or something for cheap.

The Klipsch's are great but if you cant go over your budget pick up the Logitech X-540 the a great little set of 5.1's
