I had 2x9800GTX+s in SLi, but I sold one to a friend.

What should I do with the other 9800GTX+? Keep it and wait for DX11 cards to come out,
or do I upgrade to 1xGTX260 (either 192 or 216) and SLi another in the future?

Current res at 1280x1024, maybe upgrade to 1680x1050

Don't upgrade from 1 9800GTX+ to a GTX260. While you would experience better framerates, the step is too small. Consider at least a HD 4890, GTX 275 or GTX 285.

Aye, but I can get a 192-260 for as low as 150, and my mobo is SLi so I can always SLi another.

I think I'll just wait it out then...when are the DX11 or next gen cards coming out?

I noticed a nice jump in fps from 9800gtx to gtx260 at high res with aa.
I would stick with as single 9800gtx for now if you can play the games you like.
Later on when dx11 cards come out go buy it.

If you are looking at price, I would wait. Save a couple more bucks, upgrade to a higher resoluton monitor and then buy a HD 4890 or GTX 275 when the prices fall further this summer or fall.

Both ATI and Nvidia have been rumored to come out with DX11 cards in Q4 this year.
I have to agree with invisik, if you can already play the games you want to play, then there is no reason to upgrade right now.
