Hard disk is detecting in bios but not showing space

my harddisk is detecting in bios when i am installing os vista it is not showing harddisk space so pleace help me what we will do

This things vary from motherboards brand so if your installing windows try if the OS installer can view the harddisk space if not check the cables (data and power) - the hard disk might be defective.

You may need to load the raid / ahci driver from an usb flash drive.
