2nd gaming pc build

since i will upgrade my 1st pc then there will be a plethora of parts lying around my house so why not recycle it.

here are the recycled parts:
core 2 quad Q6600
MSI 3870X2 OC
transcend 1 X 4 GB DDR 3 RAM 1333Mhz
corsair HX620W PSU

the remaining parts that i will buy are the ff:
P5Q3 asus
antec 300 chassis
500 GB WD caviar black

my question is this a good gaming pc?

Yes it looks like a decent gaming computer. It would be perfect for lan parties when the friends come over.

To Make It a real nice gaming computer I would get a xigmatek heat sink for the q6600 (if you don't already have one), and a gtx 260 core 216, 4870, or gtx 9800gtx+.

If you just want a backup PC, then fine.

I think I would buy better parts for the main PC and pay for the increased cost by marketing the unneeded parts on e-bay or wherever.

You could look at the 640gb Black for only $10 more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319 it is supposed to be faster than the 500gb because of bigger platters.
