For playing WHAT at 1920x1200? I know, you were asking generally. For that res I can personally recommend an HD4890. Great power for the money.

hmm you can only really directly compare the 275 with the 4890, released same day similar specs...I guess.

The 275 is quicker and cheaper and in most cases gets slightly better FPS rates, although not really noticeable. I think I would go for the 275 in any case.
