I recently had built in cabinetry installed in my home office. The cabinet for the computer has the following dimensions 24.5" x 9.5" x 23" (w l h). I am attempting to build a quiet/near silent liquid cooled pc for use in this cabinet.

Heat and noise are the major concerns.

I am looking for suggestions on system specs especially the case, but all major component suggestions welcomed.

I am interested in incorporating nvidia's 280 gtx

Have a look at the istarUSA D400 rackmount server case ($249 at newegg.com). I can't tell from your dimensions if you need a flat or upright case. If you purchase the power supply separately, look at pc power and cooling or corsair 700-750w models. They should be fairly quiet.

Get the GTX275 instead, uses less power for the same or slightly better performance.

...I just noticed what I posted on the dimensions. It should read: 24.5"h x 9.5"w x 23"l. That only slightly changes the case options. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the tip on the gtx275.
