CPU idle 45c, BIOS says 51c?

Hi. My processor is the AMD 64 3500+ 2.2ghz. BIOS says the CPU temperature is 51c, and Core Temp claims it is at 44-45 while idle. Which one is right, and is that a problem? I was thinking of upgrading but I think my choices are limited with my AM2 motherboard.

at least go with 6400+ it is cheap. and buy termal paste and better cooling or whatever

yeah it really is about time for an upgrade, I made this computer in summer of 06', and it was nothing close to top of the line even then. my CPU temperature is now 53c while installing a program from a DVD...
