Hey guys. I had a question for my i7 system. I do not have a NIC card and am still using a lousy USB wireless adapter. I'm looking to upgrade as I play a lot of games, specifically wow and I think I want a stronger connection. Would it be better to just get a NIC and get the router and etc. moved to my room, or would it be easier to get a real wireless internal card? And if you can could you suggest a certain NIC or Internal card from newegg or something?
Thanks

What system or motherboard do you have? I've never seen a Core i7 motherboard that doesn't include at least one on-board NIC.

I have the gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5. So no opinions on the wireless card? Not sure if I really want to move the routers as I'm on one end of the house and it could hurt the people on the other side. THe router is currently pretty much directly in the middle of the house.

What router are you using "B", "G", or "N"?
Any way you can run a Cat5 cable from the router to your computer?
Wired is almost always better for games.

Look at Cisco or Linksys, but a good wireless card won't solve the problem if you use a cheap router. Running a Cat5 cable and connecting directly to the router always works better (gaming or not).
