yes, I got to 3.6 GHz on the xigmatek S1283 on a Q6600 but my crappy mobo crapped out on me

Great one I got for a spare i7-920 rig was an Uphere Dual Tower Cooler. Absolute beast! Fits many different socket sizes

I just threw a Hyper 212 on my GFs E8400 that is oc'd... can't remember what I oc'd it too as it was my old gaming pc.
The pins on the old heatsink intel mount broke off unexpectedly and I had no spares...sooo....
Works awesome and I might even be able to push it even further now..lol
