This is regards to my brothers system I'm helping build. Sounds like Nvidia is going to be releases something real soon..just don't know if it's going to be Q4/09 or maybe sooner...anyways, I got this new i7 system just sitting without a video card. What should I do? Try to find a evga 295 or buy something cheap to get through till the new cards come out?

The Egg lists a GTX295 for $560...Yipe!
The new cards (I take it you mean DX11) should be out at the end of the year along with Win7 but it`s unlikely we`ll see DX11 games much before the end of 2010 so I`m not going to hold my breath or get excited over it right now.
Much as I dislike SLI/CF I think it`s going to be the best way top go for you.
Get a single GTX260 216 or 1GbHD4870 or HD4890 and see how it plays, if it`s a little slow, pop another one in, the MB should handle either CF/SLI and either would be less expensive than a single GTX295.

260 would be fine it was my system, but he's obsessed on getting the best due to all the benchmarks on tom :D

Thanks coozie
