Please help desktop issues

went to change desktop after i turned comp off,went to display properties i clicked on a theme dont know which one and the display prop box went black,start menu black,taskbar black,edges of my homepage black,cntrl alt delete box black,only certain things are blacked out, cant restore i have no restore points. please hepl

Go in Safe Mode and undo the changes.
Press F8 when you start up to get in safe mode.
