Ok,

I have read help and checked newsgroups and seen similar questions but I
have not actually seen the answer yet. I am able to synchronize files and
have them converted and transferred from the desktop to the PocketPC using
Windows Media Player 10 on the desktop and Windows Media Player 9 for
PocketPC. However, I cannot figure out how to transfer a playlist.

I can create new playlists on the PocketPC but this is slow. It's
especially painful since every time I do this, all of the files on the
PocketPC are in reverse order of the files on the desktop. This does not
matter for music but sure is a pain for audio book chapters.

Is there a simple solution or at least a web site with some help that
discusses this issue? Thanks

It's also a pain for language lessons or anything
where order is important.

I have found not "good" solution, except to add
the files, and then reverse them manually.

CE Playlist is a PPC program to build and rebuild playlists. I use it to
resort the PC generated play list for audio books.

Since drag-n-drop selection doesn't work on a PPC ;-) I generally create a
playlist on my PC and then copy it to my PPC and "fix" it with CE Playlist.

It also handles asx, m3u, and wpl conversion so if your ppc has an old
version of wmp you can still use a new version on the pc to generate the
playlists.

Or search for it at http://www.handango.com if that doesn't work.

Good hint.

You can certainly create the playlist with something close --
from the player create the play list, select the files (by click or
drag), but this is the very thing that puts them in BACKWARDS.

I even tried selecting them backwards (many times) on the theory
it would reverse them. It didn't.

It seems to always include them in the reverse DIRECTORY order.

Cool.

What's it cost? (I'll go look...) $9.95
