Can you OC a triple core Phenom 84 at 2.1GHz
if so how do you do it ?

Stock frequency on a Phenom x3 8400 IS 2.1GHz. You should be able to overclock to 2.4ish if your cooling is up to snuff... hopefully by just kicking the multiplier. That isn't stone age, 386 and 486 is stone age. I got a 8250e that I got running at 2.7ghz so you might get lucky to go over 2.4ghz knowing the stock power consumption that is around 95w and most boards top out at or before 140w.
