Samsung T240 vs Samsung 2494HS

Hi guys

I just sold my monitor and plan to buy a new Samsung. I can't decide whether to choose between the Samsung 2494HS and Samsung T240. I can get a 2 month old Samsung T240 for the same price as a new Samsung 2494HS. Can anyone tell me which monitor is better in terms of picture quality and gaming. I know that the Samsung 2494HS is slighly smaller but has a CR of 50000:1 as opposed to the Samsung T240 20000:1. I cnt understand why the T240 is so much more than the 2494HS. Is there something special that the T240 has that the 2494HS doesn't? Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

Dont trust the Dynamic Contrast rate,it hardly ever makes a difference.

These two compare T240 with 2493HM,which is quite the same with 2494 HS but is 16:10(that means you can get 1920x1200,while at 2493 you can only get 1920x1080)and has HDMI

To cut the long story short,many ppl think 2493HM is better than T240 for almost all purposes.However,if you cant get an 2493HM,i would suggest you buy the T240 instead of the 2494HS cuz it is 16:10
