I have bought an Abit Motherboard IN9 32-Max Wi-Fi on October 2007. This motherboard has been giving me a headache as from day one when I first started the system I had to find a way around to update its bios since 4 times out of 5 retries the motherboard wouldn't boot up.

Anyway that problem solved now I am facing another dilemma...yesterday I was just working on it and the Windows Vista just froze up. I wouldn't even reset from the tower button or hold on the power button for complete power shut down, I had to switch the power supply off directly from behind. Once I powered it up again, the motherboard's LEDs to light up, but again I press the power button the and computer never starts to boot up. I have tested every hard disk, vga, memory card and even my CPU Q9300 on another PC and it works fine, also my power supply works fine and tried another psu on my pc and still didn't power up.

During this process, I had the power supply switched on, all of a sudden while doing other stuff, the PC switched on, vga fans went on, cpu fan went on too but again I couldn't switch the thing off! From that time it never went on again. I tried resetting the bios, replacing the bios battery but no good!

Can you please help? Any thing will do at this point, also am I eligible for an RMA since its been less then 2 years ?

Please help me out guys

Thanks
