Im using a GeForce 8800 GT on vista (32 bit). Ive disabled the onboard graphics, uninstalled anything with Nvidia, went into BIOS and selected PCI-E as my primary, restarted, ran the installation CD, installed WDM drivers, installed vista 32bit drivers, and still my computer wont recognize the card and says no signal when i plug my monitor into it. The card has a fan and it runs when I start up. Also if i disable my onboard card and install the new cards drivers it enables the onboard card again. Ive already did a full system restore with no luck. I know the card works in this computer so any ideas before i break down and take it to the shop?

If you can't get a signal, how do you know the card works in this computer?

I'd say your card is dead. Try and test it in another system if you can.

Did you plug the necessary 6-pin PCI-E power cable into the 8800GT?

What make and model is your power supply? cheap power supplies often do not live up to their specs.
