4850 512+4850x2 1gb?

Will this work. Will it recognize all 1.5 gb of memory? I have a Saphire 4850 and plan to add a 4850x2 to it late this year or early next.

All of those cards have 512mb individually...so 512mb is your actual max memory.

Each GPU uses its own VRAM respectivly, thus the 4850x2 1GB has 512MB dedicated fore each GPU. When you connect a third 4850 512MB you do not increase the VRAM but rather increase the number of GPUs rendering the data. The amount of memory stays the same, 512MB of VRAM per GPU.
