Hello,
Well I can tell you one reason for deleting word. I never heard of wordpad until my WROD 2003 documents started mysteriously changing to wordpad documents, and no apparent way of changing them back. the change is lately happening whenever I open a recently created Word document.. As you must kknow wordpad is some kind of simplifieds word processor similar in function to Notepad, and therefore the hundreds of capabilities of WORD are just not there.
So, I have no problem with wordpad residing on my computer if it would just not spring out of its cave and essentially destroy my Word 2003 document!
Help!
I am operating on WINDOWS XP.
