My HIPRO 300W PSU got fried during an eletrical storm or a power surge, didn't do anything to the surge protector, nor any of the other ones in my house. Anyways, all my online research has told me that they don't make that one anymore and HP won't tell me what I can get from BestBuy or Frys to replace it.

Any suggestions?!!

Do a search with your hp model number. You may have room for any standard atx power supply. When posting a question, please list system specs or at least a model number. I suggest the following brands: corsair, antec, pc power and cooling, seasonic, or enermax. I have a spare hp 250w you can have for shipping charges. It's sitting in my attic.
