Hi.
I already bought 4Gb ram Kingston - KHX8500D2BK2/4G,and my BIOS view my memory ram at 800Mhz.

I did update the BIOS version F7 to F9 version, and i make this settings in BIOS.
You may like something breaks because of these settings?
It can burn (destroy) something in the system because of these settings (Motherboard, CPU, RAM or other component)?
I attached printscreen with changes made and an CPU-Z printscreen (after changes)

It's not 100% sure what you're asking. You're concerned that by manually increasing the CL settings that you may damage the RAM? Not likely - but you could make the memory un-reliable.

I think you're saying that the 1066 RAM is coming up showing it to be 800 RAM? And that you're trying to manually change this.

The most likely cause of it not showing at 1066 is that it isn't getting enough voltage to run at that speed. The specs for the RAM at their website show:

KHX8500D2K2/4G
Description: 4GB 1066MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2)
Detailed Specifications: Standard 256M X 64 Non-ECC 1066MHz 240-pin Unbuffered DIMM (DDR2, 2.3V, CL5, Gold)
http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator_new/partsinfo.asp?root=us&LinkBack=http://www.kingston.com&ktcpartno=KHX8500D2K2/4G&id=8

Notice it says 2.3V

But on the datasheet, it shows it running at both 1.8V and 2.3V

You should reset the timings all to default/auto and try increasing the DDR Overvoltage settings. I'd try adding 0.1V until it comes up showing as 1066. Once you have that working, you may want to go in and change the timings to match the spd of the RAM.

(I could not locate KHX8500D2BK2/4G - but did find KHX8500D2K2/4G - is that correct, without the B?

Concretely, how to set my memory to work @ 1066Mhz.My kit is KHX8500D2BK2/4G (B = black edition).

You should reset the timings all to default/auto to start with.

Reboot and look at CPUz. Then reboot back to BIOS and increase the DDR Overvoltage settings. You want the RAM to be getting 2.3V of power. I think you're starting at 1.8V, so this would be an increase of .5V If it shows as 533/1066, you can try reducing it.

Once you have that working, you may want to go in and change the timings to match the spd of the RAM. Look on CPUz under SPD and you should see the correct timings for that RAM at various speeds.

The RAM you've chosen has a very high voltage requirement. You should be able to find RAM that only uses 1.8V or at most 2.1V.

I think you're starting la so this trec.de la will a fi un increase de.5V Dacă it manifestare as 533/1066, tu poţi try reducing it.

The BERBEC you've aleasă has un foarte high voltaj requirement.

Tu trebiue a fi capabil la spre află BERBEC that unic uses 1.8V sau la most 2.1V.

On the RAM modules is written 2.2V,NOT 2.3V.I reset BIOS to optimal and then i increse the voltage with +0.4v.But the CPU-Z indicate that my memory work at 800Mhz.

In this case i made the changes on BIOS (changes from the attached images), and CPU-Z indicate that my memory work at 1066Mhz (see the attached image from my first post).

Are the changes ok and safely?

Yes, the changes are OK and safe.

I would recommend now you test memory. A good program is Prime95 - at the top of this list.

Good luck and hope your system runs well for you!
