I'd go for the q9550 which has been $170 at microcenter. Worth the drive. It's listed in their current online ad.

Thanks for this m8

Just looked on ebay and see there not badly priced :) i was told my cpu is very bad for high end gaming so this q9550 should be a big increase in fps or am i thinking wrong?

the Q9550 will give a serious increase in fps since that P4 bottlenecks even 4650's (ATi equivalent of an nvidia 9500GT)

A Q9550 will make a large increase in gaming.

I am afraid it will not make any noticable difference even if You overclock it to 4GHz
