I want to put 9600 gt in my 945gc mobo( i can't upgrade my mobo).
I have heard it needs 6 pin connector to work.
Actually, i didn't find any 6pin connector in my psu. Also my psu is 400watt.
Here is further discription of my crappy psu.
i am in asia and we here use 220v and not 110v!!
So my question is can my psu and mobo use 9600gt and what should i do about the 6 pin connector??
PLz Help!!!
I'd look into a different PSU personaly, I know that a Thermaltake 430W will power that card with no issues on 220v (move the voltage switch to 230 first). (and has a 6-pin PCI connector) 220v here too (Germany).

Thanx for the reply.
Well i wanted to know if my psu can handle the card or not???
The board will most likely come with an adaptor to convert two of your 4 pin connectors (that plug into your harddrives and dvd) to a 6 pin connector. So yes it will work to an extent,
I wouldn't want to use a low quality power supply but if money is tight then try it out, if it has insufficient power it may not turn on and if it does then problems will become fairly obvious (crashes, etc) so if you do try it, try to stress test the machine immediately using games/benchmarks to check it's stable.
