Hello, I'm not able to boot from my SATA hard disk yet the hard disk is being detected at the BIOS level. When I boot from the CD Rom so as to re-install my windows xp operating system, the system returns a blue screen with an error of bad sectors on the hard disk. I've connected the same hard disk on another computer as a secondary drive and did a scandisk with no errors being found.

Any ideas pls!

As hell_storm2004 indicated you have to install the SATA drivers in Windows XP by pressing F6 and loading the driver from a floppy drive, since Windows XP has no native SATA drivers. Check your setting for you hard drive in your BIOS, you do not need the SATA drivers, if you have the drive to emulate IDE, but you will need them if you set it to ACHI or RAID.
