I have a E8400 @ 3.00 ghz speed. i currently have the 9800 gt, and would like to add a better video card. I want to watch HD movies and be able to play the newer games othere with better graphics.
Why not google benchmarks instead of making a vague post without resolution....weather or not you poted your res you could just google and find your damn answer you lazy .......
Since most everyone uses the new 1024x768 crts...

4830? He already has the Nvidia version of that card, the 9800GT. I agree we need a lot more info if he wants real help. What res he plays at is a must. What games he plays should be taken into account as well. How he knows he needs an upgrade at all would be awesome. (When I play X game at Y part, Z happens.) An 8400 @ 3GHz with an 9800GT should be enough for most things, he is doing something that needs more. The question is, what is that something?
