probably you should go with windows 7, xp is usually 32 bit, which isnt as efficient as the computer would be on a 64 bit, and windows vista has 64 bit versions but it isnt (from what i have heard many times) very reliable or stable, so unless you have a spare xp disk then buy a windows 7 disk, very nice OS, easy to use, stable, yea just go with windows 7.
