DirectTV in the Virgin Islands

A friend who is planning a move to St. Croix
asked if her DirectTV can work from there even
though they don't seem to sell the service.

(She really does license DirectTV and even pays
the fee for having a second home or other remote
location.)

How would she learn if this will work (I presume
so) and how would she obtain the Dish pointing
info?

It's probably a trivial question.
