My 8800GS overheats?

On my wife's pc spec:

Q9400 / Xigmatek S1283 with retention bracket running @ 3.0GHz
Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR
Patriot Viper 4GB PC2 6400 (4-4-4-12) @ 1000MHz (5-5-5-15) 2.1V
Antec Three Hundred with 2 CM 120mm LED fan.
Antec TP Trio 430W PSU
EVGA 8800GS
2 x 250GB WD Caviar HDD in raid 0

I been playing some light games(CSS & L4D) in my wife's pc and I've notice that GPU in running around 85~90C while playing games. Is this normal for 8800GS? It doesn't crash but I was wondering if these temps were ok...

  1. That seems a bit high.
Try to download evga precision and turn up the fan.
If not newegg has a Masscool pci slot fan that you can put under the video card
that will exhaust the hot air under the card out the back of the case.
    It costs about $9
