i think my psu is going bad. i got a new gtx 275 and pc shuts off whenever i try to game. it ran fine with a 9800gtx but gtx 275 has more power. psu is a thermaltake 750w with 4 12v rails @ 18a each. so it has enough power. tried using differant power connectors and that worked for a little bit but now its crashing again. anyone know of good psu i can replace it with?

I would try a lower resolution first to see if your game will run. You may have a driver issue with the new card. Your present ps should run your 275 ok. For a replacement, look to spend $175-200 for corsair, seasonic, or pc power and cooling, all top rated ps. The thermaltake is lower rated when tested under load. Look for one with 40-60 amps on the 12v rails.

now i think that it may be taking to much voltage. i stuck my old card in there to run as a physx processor and now it doesnt crash. doesnt make any sense why my 9800gtx worked but not my 275 tho.

ive tried multiple drivers with the card and it always crashed at 1080p not sure if it crashes at lower res.
