Hi,

I am looking at buying this water cooling kit (http://www.gammods.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_122&products_id=3052) and was wondering if the pump/reservoir will be enough to cook both processor and graphics card.

The CPU is an i7 950
Graphics is ATI Radeon HD 5870, I have a waterblock for this already.

Just wondering if this kit is fine for a single loop through both or whether I will need to look at buying a different pump.

Thanks

Also, if its relevant the waterblock I have for the graphics card is EK-FC5870 Acetal + Nickel

No. You'll need another radiator. The pump will handle it, the radiator won't dissipate enough heat at load to get temps like you'd want.

If you ran high RPM/CFM fans in push/pull on that radiator...you could possibly be OK if you didn't overclock...but still likely lower GPU temps than the stock cooler.

If you got the XPSC Rasa with the triple radiator, you'll be fine.

That's a slight problem, I was planning on getting the NZXT Phantom case along with it, that has space to hang a double radiator internally, which is quite important to me because I'm likely to be moving it around fairly frequently.

You wouldn't happen to know of any cases which have room to hang a triple radiator would you?

Otherwise I'm thinking that I may just add another single and just mount it into a spare 5.25" bay use some brackets I noticed on the gammod website...

Thanks for the input, its much appreciated.

Well, the NZXT case I was looking at cost around 200AUD but I could probably go as high as 300ish.

Also if possible a case with no/minimal modifications required would be ideal.

Thanks

I was having a look last night and found a few places that sell ATCS-840 for 300AUD, which is right in my price range, rather conveniently. Also as far as I'm aware that requires absolutely no modding to fit a triple radiator in the top, and based on a few other build logs I was looking at it seems as though it isn't particularly difficult to add extra radiators internally, there seems to be plenty of space.

now all you need is find one of this ;
http://www.jab-tech.com/XSPC-Rasa-750-RX360-CPU-watercooling-kit-pr-4780.html

XSPC RS like the one rubix mention or the one above ,I like RX series but it all depends from what they have in your area

EDIT;they sell them but not at the time (sold out)

as it turns out gammods wont have stock for a while so I've ended up ordering it from jab-tech (the other link you gave me), surprisingly its only about $15 more expensive despite $78 postage....

I've also ordered the ATCS-840, now all that remains is to receive them and chuck it all together.

I certainly will, I'm just sitting here are the moment all excited to get the new case and wcing kit, sadly I know that its going to take at least 5 days for the kit to get to Australia and considering my past experiences with Australia post it will probably take them another week to deliver it... especially around Christmas...
