New Thermal Paste

Hey,

I will be getting a new Heatsink for Christmas. I have some MX-2 in my draw but it has been there for nearly a year now. Should I get some new stuff or will it be fine?

If I do have to get some new stuff, which is the best?

I have some Arctic Silver AS5 that is more than two years old. Still works fine.

The MX-2 should still be good. I'd use it.

Yeah if it was closed properly it will be fine, I actually just did a re-seat will some old mx-2 and it was fine. I had some stuff towards the tip that congealed, all I did was remove that little bit at the top and the rest in the tube was fine.
