Just upgraded my system with:
790FX-GD70 Board
Radeon HD 4870
AMD Phenom II X4 955
4GB G.Skill DDR3

I can get into the BIOS, but after closing it reboots automatically. It also seems like it's running pretty hot, 50-52 degrees idling in the BIOS, with the CPU fan running at around 6000 rpm.

I've only got a 460W PSU, could that be too little for this? Or any other suggestions?

i just put a similar build together, i dont have a solid gpu yet just using a pretty crappy standard gpu but mine isnt running hot at all, check you fans and ports to make sure no cables are blocking the air flow i made sure mine were out of the way
