Hello,

It's been a long, long time since I last built a computer due to needing the portability of a laptop. I am an FPS junkie and can't keep dealing with graphics cards on laptops so I am going to build a desktop but it has been so long I have some of questions. First I guess I should start of with my build:

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Retail

Tuniq Tower 120 Universal CPU Cooler 120mm Cooling Fan and Fan Controller/Heatsink - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154001

My main questions are:

Does it make sense to use the memory I selected with the CPU and motherboard? From what I understand the M4A79T can support that speed of memory, but through overclocking?

The power supply I selected looks like the fan is on the bottom, but the case has the power supply on the bottom? It looks like most serious power supplies have the fan on the bottom. If someone has a similar case or power supply and can let me know how it works...?

Please give me ANY recommendations/advice you have! My budget is $1,800 max (including monitor, dvd drive, hdd, ect)

I would do this for the case/PSU, although what you selected would work fine. This gets you more for your money though: CM Storm Sniper and Corsair 850tx
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.176943

Those selections that I showed you comes to $1577 with shipping, then you have $40 MIR. If you don't already have a mouse and keyboard:
Mouse: Logitech G5
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104076

Keyboard: LogitechG15
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126034

Those additions make the total $1699 with shipping, then $40 MIR.
