I've been running a Dell E520 for about 2 years now. It has a pretty meh x1300 Video card and I'm looking to upgrade. All cards that seem to be any good need about 500w PSU, the one in the E520 is only a 305w(model# H305N-00.) Im looking to purchase http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
but the dimensions are a bit off from the stock PSU in the computer right now, was wondering if anyone knew if it would have any problems fitting in there?

I know this is out of place but looking to snag this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... if anyone had any comments. Any help would be much aprreciated, my hardware knowledge is pretty lacking.

The amps are a little weak on that thermaltake. PSU's are one area where you don't want to skimp. Cheap ones will die and sometimes take something down with it. You get what you pay for with PSU's. Here would be my recommendations:

Quality Corsair PSU

or

Dell upgrade PSU (made by PC Power & Cooling)

Thats a very nice video card btw. Though for the price, I would go with this video card

I have replaced my old 7300LE Video card in my E520 with a Zotac 9800GT ECO 1GB card (ZT-98GEY3M-FSL) with HDMI.

The Zotac runs well and as it's a single slot design it fits in the Dell case without any modifications.

Recommended power supply is 350W but I am still running with original 305W supply.... all good so far (after 4 weeks).
