Best CPU Cooler that's not as big as the Coolermaster V8

Hello.
I have Thermaltake Armor

it's a normal case but has a 220 MM fan

therefore, the Coolermaster is difficult to fit, and I have to move one ventilator a little bit to the right.

I might need to install PUSH (outside the case) and pull, if I put the blue fan, it will look pretty awesome too.

Anyway, assuming I just can't make my H70 run as expected (so far I'm REALLY disappointed with this), I would like to know

1) what is the best CPU cooler that is around $50-$100? I just want the absolute best
2) If I put 3 ventilators in my Coolermaster V8, will that make it REALLY good?
3) If the best CPU cooler is too big to fit in my case, what is the best choice then? Again, I have Thermaltake Armor

I want that that is not as big as the Coolermaster V8, which is, horrendously ginormous

An AMD Phenom X6 1090T costs $220 now a days

So it makes no sense to invest over $100 in CPU cooler

  1. 1- Noctua NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow, Titan Fenrir, Tuniq Tower, Prolimatech Megahalems. Any one of those is much better that you current cooler and fit in your budget.
2- No, the V8 isn't the best cooler, just looks good.
3- Any one of the recommended cooler fit in your case without problems, and aren't as big as the V8.
  2. I think the Noctua NH-D14 with Diamond Thermal Paste will be a nice combo :)

The Noctua is awesome but also massive, just check compatibility.
