i have p5n-mx motherboard with pcie 16x. recently i want to buy an ati 4830. does my old mthrbod support for this vga(pcie 2.0)? please help me.. thank you.

Yes, it will work even with PCIe 1.0.
Make sure your power supply is adequate.
