How to detect hard drive.

I have put a Samsung HD103SJ into the second HDD slot in my pc. When I go into BIOS it is in the sixth drive slot. My problem is that I cannot access the drive in Computer. What do I have to do to Access the drive? (When I select any of the drives listed on Computer and then open it's properties and select the hardware tab it shows all my drives including the HD103SJ.)

Does it show up under Computer or do you not see it at all?

I do not see it under computer. I see it if I go to the properties of any other drive along with the rest of them but it unlike the other drives I do not see it on Computer.

Ok, you probably need to format it and assign it a drive letter. Go to the Control Panel, click on System and Security, then click Administrative Tools, then Computer Management. Click on Disk Management on the left side. Your drive should show up. From here, you can right-click on it and format it and assign it a drive letter. Hopefully that'll solve your problem.
