if i have an Athalon II X2 AM3 processor, will it function in an AM3 board that says its compatible with Phenom II? namely the foxconn A7DA-S 3.0

that site has the A7DA-S which is AM2.....and is different? from the A7DA-S 3.0 AM3

Either motherboard, the Athlon II X2 will work in it.
