Right Angle SATAII Data Cables

I'm going to install a Sapphire Radeon 6850 video card in my PC, INTEL i7 - 870, Intel DH55TC motherboard.
The video card will fit over top the SATA connectors on the m/b which means I've got to change the
data cables SATA connectors to right angle connectors to fit under the video card.
How high from the M/B are the right angle SATA connectors?

Thanks

Depends on the cable you can get them as low as 11.7mm - http://www.cooldrives.com/ullowpr30sai.html

Google "Ultra Low Profile SATA Right angle connector"
  2. Great!

    Thanks
  3. Stopped by Best Buy toady they had exactly what i need but they are $19.99 each!!!
Low profile Dynex SATA cables a little long but ok. $19.99 a piece.....
Identical cables on ebay for a few bucks.

Do the cable have to be SATAII or just SATA?
  4. Both SATA and SATA2 hard drives can be used with any SATA controller. If the SATA controller can only handle 150mb/s then a SATA2 drive will function as a SATA drive. Also, any SATA cable can be used for either a SATA or SATA2 drive. Both drives and cables are fully interchangeable.

Yeah please don't buy those from Best Buy, that's such a scam. I buy little stuff like that from eBay or Meritline all the time. The really cheap stuff ships from China so it takes a few weeks but saves you so much money. I don't understand how something shipped all the way from China can cost under a buck, but it works so I'm not complaining.
